Woolf Fisher Scholarship
Rewarding educational excellence in academia

Awarded to up to three outstanding New Zealand graduate students each year, the Woolf Fisher Scholarship recognises outstanding academic ability and the other qualities which Sir Woolf Fisher most admired – integrity, leadership, boldness of vision and exceptional zeal, keenness and capacity for work. Scholars receive:

> the choice of studying for a doctoral degree at Cambridge University for three or four years
> a maintenance allowance of £13,000 per annum
> payment of approved University and College fees
> an annual London-New Zealand return economy airfare

To be eligible for a Scholarship students must be:

> under 30 years of age
> have attended a secondary school in New Zealand for at least two years
> have graduated or expect to graduate in the year of application with a first-class honours degree from a New Zealand university
